CV joint and CV axle repair clears the clicking in turns and restores firm power delivery to the wheels.
What it is and how we do it
The CV joint sends power from the gearbox to the wheel while allowing steering and suspension movement. It is protected by a boot; when the boot splits, dirt and water get in, grease leaks out and the joint wears. We inspect the inner and outer joints, the boots and the axle shaft.
Depending on the case we replace the boot with fresh grease, the joint, or the complete axle. We use suitable parts for domestic and imported cars and check the alignment after the job.
Symptoms and when to come in
The classic sign is a clicking sound when turning with the wheel on lock, louder in tight maneuvers. Vibration under acceleration, grease sprayed on the inner side of the wheel and a torn boot also point to trouble.
A split boot caught early may mean just a boot replacement; ignored, it grows into replacing the joint or the whole axle.

A badly worn joint can seize or come apart while driving, which is dangerous. Treating it early is safer and far cheaper than replacing the complete axle.
