Clutch adjustment & inspection
Clutch adjustment and inspection sets the bite point right and catches wear early, before it becomes a full kit replacement.
What it is and how we do it
Not every clutch issue needs a replacement. Often the pedal or bite point is out of adjustment, the cable or hydraulic system needs setting, or there is air in the circuit. We measure pedal travel, test the bite point and check the master cylinder, actuator and for leaks.
On hydraulic systems we check the fluid level and condition and bleed if needed. On cable systems we set the free play. We do this on domestic and imported cars.
Symptoms and when to come in
A pedal that is too high or too low, trouble getting first or reverse, harsh engagement or a bite point that seems to have vanished can be a matter of adjustment, not a worn disc. A spongy pedal usually means air or fluid near its end.
A periodic inspection also measures disc wear and helps you plan the kit replacement without surprises on the road.
Why it matters and why Mr. Service
Adjusting before replacing saves money and avoids swapping good parts needlessly. And an honest inspection shows clearly how much life is left.
In Chácara Santo Antônio, we give a straight diagnosis, a detailed quote, a 3-month warranty on our work, serve all brands and speak Portuguese, English and Turkish.
