4WD & transfer case service

4WD and transfer case service keeps the drive engagement safe and the fluid current for use on and off the road.

What it is and how we do it

The transfer case splits power between the front and rear axles on 4WD vehicles, and can be engaged by lever, electronic button or automatically. We inspect the engagement, the actuator, the fluid level and condition, and check for noise and play in the unit.

We change the specified fluid, repair seals and bearings, and run electronic diagnosis of the system when engagement is by module. We serve domestic and imported trucks and SUVs.

Symptoms and when to come in

Trouble engaging or disengaging the drive, a flashing 4WD light, noise or shudder in tight turns, and oil leaking from the transfer case are warning signs. Electronic systems may log a fault code.

Drivers who use the vehicle on trails, beach, rain or towing should keep the fluid current — tough conditions speed up wear on the unit.

Why it matters and why Mr. Service

4WD is safety and capability; a poorly maintained system can fail just when you need it most, and repairing a transfer case is expensive. Correct maintenance avoids that risk.

In Chácara Santo Antônio, we diagnose with a scanner when the system is electronic, approve the quote first, give a 3-month warranty, serve all brands and speak Portuguese, English and Turkish.
