Brake inspection

A brake inspection measures the real wear across the whole system and shows what needs attention before it becomes a risk.

What it is and how we do it

The inspection assesses the full brake system: pads, rotors, drums, shoes, calipers, cylinders, hoses, fluid and the parking brake. We measure pad and rotor thickness, check play and leaks and test the pedal.

When a brake or ABS light is on, we connect the scanner to read the codes. At the end we show what is good, what needs watching and what needs repair now — without pushing unnecessary parts. We serve domestic and imported cars.

When to do it

Noise when braking, a low or spongy pedal, shudder, the car pulling to one side, a brake light on, or simply reaching the service interval are all good reasons to inspect.

We also recommend an inspection before trips and after driving in severe conditions — lots of mountain roads, heavy traffic or flooding.

Why it matters and why Mr. Service

Brakes are the number one safety item on a car. An honest inspection avoids both the risk of driving with a compromised system and the needless expense of premature replacements.

In Chácara Santo Antônio, we give a clear report, a detailed quote, a 3-month warranty on our work, serve all brands and speak Portuguese, English and Turkish.

Frequently asked questions

Is the inspection charged separately?
We explain at booking; what matters is that you get a clear report.
Will I be pushed to replace everything?
No; we show real measurements and advise only what is needed.
Do you check the ABS too?
Yes; we read the codes with a scanner when the light is on.
