ABS system
ABS system repair restores the anti-lock braking that keeps you in control during emergency stops.
What it is and how we do it
ABS stops the wheels from locking under hard braking, letting you keep steering and shortening stopping distance on slippery surfaces. It uses a speed sensor at each wheel, a hydraulic unit (module) and software. We connect the scanner, read fault codes and live data from each sensor to locate the cause.
Depending on the diagnosis we replace wheel sensors, tone rings, wiring or repair the hydraulic unit, and bleed the system by the correct procedure. We serve domestic and imported cars, with a scanner that reads the brand’s modules.
Symptoms and when to come in
An ABS light on the dash, the brake pulsing strangely, ABS that does not act in the rain or that triggers needlessly are signs of a fault. Often a single dirty or damaged wheel sensor causes the warning.
With the light on, the car usually still brakes, but without anti-lock protection — risky exactly in emergencies and on wet roads. It is worth diagnosing promptly.
