Fault code reading and clearing shows what the control units logged and clears the history after the repair — always with judgment, never just to kill the light.
How it works
Each module stores fault codes (DTCs) when it detects something out of spec. We connect the scanner, read the active and pending (intermittent) codes from every reachable module, and explain what each one means for your specific car.
Once the root cause is fixed, we clear the codes and confirm they do not return over a drive cycle. Only then do we consider the job complete.
When it is needed
It is the first step when a warning light is on, before a trip, when buying a used car, or when another shop cleared the light and it came back. Reading also helps track intermittent faults that do not show up all the time.
Clearing codes without fixing the cause is pointless: they return on the next cycle and can even mask a growing problem.
Our commitment
We read honestly and only clear once the issue is solved — and when the repair is done with us, it carries a 3-month warranty on labour. We send a quote for approval before any work. We serve every brand, domestic and imported, with service in Portuguese, English and Turkish.
Frequently asked questions
- Can you just clear the light without repairing?
- We can clear it, but if the cause remains the code returns. We recommend diagnosing and fixing first, so the clearing is permanent.
- Do you read all the modules?
- We read the modules our scanner reaches on most brands, domestic and imported. Tell us the model and year.
- Does this erase my service history?
- No. It clears only the fault codes; your maintenance history is not affected.
