What it is and how we do it
We look after lighting beyond the headlights: tail lights, brake lights, indicators, reverse light, plate light, interior, dashboard and courtesy lights. We check burnt bulbs, corroded sockets, fuses, relays and contact faults that make a light flicker or stay off.
When a light fails with no burnt bulb, we investigate the circuit and earth, finding the electrical source instead of just swapping a bulb and having the problem return.
Symptoms and when to come
A brake light or indicator that will not light, a dead tail light, an interior light that fails, an indicator flashing faster than normal (a sign of a burnt bulb), and intermittent faults. Brake lights and indicators are essential safety items.
