What it is and how it works
Wheels suffer from potholes and curbs: they can bend, crack or lose their seal with the tire. We assess the damage, measure the bend and check whether a repair is safe or the wheel should be replaced.
At Mr. Service we inspect the dismounted wheel, check for cracks and around the bead area, and after any repair we remount and balance to ensure smooth running.
Symptoms and when to come in
Vibration that balancing doesn’t clear, slow pressure loss with no visible puncture, a visibly dented wheel after a hard pothole or an impact mark all call for a check.
Worth checking after any hard hit on a pothole or curb, even without obvious damage, because cracks aren’t always visible to the naked eye.
